Our Story
Solving a real problem
It all started in the mid-90’s with trade shows.
Back then, every booth came equipped with a traditional, molded plastic trash
can. At one trade show, Tom, our founder, noticed a problem. At the end of most shows, companies sent high-priced labor to collect the wastebaskets. Often, these teams threw out the wastebaskets, even if used only once.
Trade shows added over one million pounds of plastic into landfills. So, in 1994, Eco-Technology developed an environmentally friendly wastebasket called the Tellurian.
It is simple in design, but powerful in
capabilities, and it’s made in the U.S.A. For years we have helped the trade show industry become more sustainable.
Then COVID-19 pandemic hit. We discovered that COVID dies much faster on a Tellurian than on a hard wastebasket.
For many, the Tellurian wastebasket is a cost-effective and earth friendly solution that will help businesses open safely.
Saving green while being green and making people safer. It’s a Win-Win-Win.
